~Donation Backfired~

It's my first time encounter such bad experience when donating blood...

Was it coincidental that today is not a day for people who are of Tiger Horoscope? Or was it really the nurse's problem??

Since there was no classes today, i went work early and thought of going for blood donation @ SGH before i take 190 home..

I've already knew that my vein is slanted and the nurse confirmed with me too.. i didnt ask her anything becos i've donated about 6 times before...She told me that she is the most professional there in poking slanted veins...

KNS....after poking halfway, i heard her say "ALAMAK"... den she went frantic and called a senior nurse over to help.. the senior nurse tried squirming the needle but still no blood drawn.. so another nurse came over and tried but too, blood didnt follow... so eventually they gave up and gave me an ice compress....

It is of cos PAINFUL (and i nearly dripped tears)but im more worried to c how my arm will show the big bruise..

The vein was injured and some blood flowed out to the area, forming a swell up of blood..this blood will eventually spread forming bruise and it needs abt 2 weeks to seep back into the muscle..

Anyway, i do not blame the nurse but somehow this has affected me whether its "safe" for me to donate again in future... Or maybe i sld try the other arm?? Or maybe i sld insist to have a Senior Nurse right in the beginning?? haiz...

After dunno how many years, I set foot on these grounds again!

Main purpose: To feed the hungry tortises in the ponds...

We brought 5 loaves of white bread there... extra slices ones from No Frills...

Even though there are plenty of tortises, they couldnt finish all so my breakfast for this week would be bread with peanut butter, bread with egg, bread with kaya...

The sun was sorching and my mum hid herself under the umbrella all afternoon...

There are tortises, fishes, baby fishes and some edible type tortise... i forgot what its called.... those with ugly faces and long necks...usually sold in herbal soups...yucks...

The place was beautifully decorated for the ocassion...

I met Peggy first to help her touch up her make up and do her hair...

so we loitered at the washroom for like half an hour...

Nice? sometimes i do feel quite clever...hahaha..
